The color panels are double sided so they are large enough to fill our screen AND they are reversible, allowing us to do lots of different color combos. We made the panels out of cheap 4x8 strand boards from the big box store near us, so they have an interesting texture to them and weren't too expensive to make. We got sample sized paint cans so we could experiment with lots of colors. We do think we'd like to come up with a way to more easily move them around, but overall we think this is a great cheap DIY backdrop.
