But this deer head design is the thing that first got us making products, which lead to us starting a YouTube channel, which started us down this crazy path. So we'll give some more info on the process of making the deer head itself here. It's 3D printed in PLA filament, printed in 3 pieces, then glued together with the help of dowels. We clean up the print using a soldering iron to melt the plastic. This is mostly necessary in the spots where we broke off the print supports. Then we painted it witha metallic gun metal spray paint. For the wood backing, we salvaged some rustic pallet wood, added a bit of dimension to it with the same spray paint as before, and used acrylic paint to give it a street art vibe, layering multiple colors, brush strokes, and spatters. We finished it off by 3D printing "DO MORE" and attaching the letters under the deer head.
