Also because it was so easy and quick, this cutting board would be great to make as gifts for friends and family. We used maple in this video, but we've also made it with walnut which looks amazing too. Any close grained, food safe hard wood should work. The angled cut, hole, and rounded edges give this one a simple modern look without being too plain, ad we really like how it turned out.
