On October 27th 2023 at Happy Valley Shenzhen Bullet Coaster was operating normally. The ride was running with 2 trains. Train #1 was launched, but partway through the launch a fault occurred that caused the launch to be aborted. The train rolled partway up the first hill, but rolled backwards due to the launch being aborted. The ride fell backwards down the first hill. It then collided with the, still unloading, train 2 in the station, sending it flying backwards out of the station.
