EDIT 3/25/22: Almost exactly 1 year later, tonight a guest fell from the drop tower at Icon park and was killed. It appears his restraint was not properly secured prior to the ride starting. Slingshot Group has not changed, please avoid their attractions. Just a few months ago an accident occurred on the Slingshot at Old Town Kissimmee suffered an accident. The ride was closed for a few days then repaired and reopened. Though the ride reopened there are still many questions that need to be answered. Unfortunately soon after this happened the public lost interest in this accident. This video is what we know, as well as my best guess as to why it happened.
