‘The Queen at Tilsburie’ is an English Royalist song written by Thomas Delony in August of 1588. The song recounts the visit of Queen Elizabeth I to the men at Tilbury and her famous speech to the army. It also describes other events of the Anglo-Spanish war, such as the Spanish Armada and the English navy, along with other soldiers and officers. The song also seems to have been written within a few hours of the Queens visit itself. Recording done by the band ‘Peasants All’ I don’t own the music in any way.
