‘Keep the Home Fires Burning’ is a British song from World War One by Ivor Novello with lyrics by Lena Guilbert Ford, it was written during 1914 in the first year of the start of the war. Its lyrics recount life at home and wishing farewells to the armed forces as they go off to Europe to battle the Germans. I’m unsure where this recording is from.
