In the Far Realm, the Whispered One finally makes his case: a plague, a woman he loved, a century of silence from gods who would not answer, and a mission to cure death itself. Vax draws Mythcarver and sees everything. The Matron of Ravens tells him what comes next. Pike goes full Anakin. She hears one story, believes it, and gives the Whispered One her celestial blood. She raises a shield against her own crew. Then she fights Grog. Then she has to look at what she's done. Keyleth goes Avatar State. Taryon holds the line. Delilah shows her hand one final time. Vax — whose fate was supposed to be sealed — stands in front of a half-ascended god who just had all of Vox Machina bow on the Summer Jam screen, says no, and dissolves. Post-reaction: Rekkai has fully lost patience with Pike and wants the full prophecy read aloud — if Vecna is now a god with an army of believers, what does season 5 even look like? Mikel-Claire is still processing Vax's dissolution.
