Currently Playing: What is Inpainting? [How to Use it in ComfyUI!]

In this video we go over inpainting, which is a way to easily modify a section of an image we already have, instead of generating an entirely new image. We do this in ComfyUI by modifying the latent image that we are feeding into our KSampler. If you want to use the same image generation model that I used in the video here is Juggernaut-XL: https://civitai.com/models/133005/juggernaut-xl Or if you want an even more lightweight SD1.5 model that is designed for inpainting, I would recommend dreamshaper 8-inpainting: https://civitai.com/models/4384?modelVersionId=131004 However this workflow is very versatile! So I highly recommend that you try it with whatever models you are currently using and it will probably work. Despite the more complicated default inpainting workflows that ComfyUI recommends, this simpler workflow will even work with models like Qwen, although the model/clip/VAE will need to be loaded in differently.
