In this video we use ComfyUI to upscale images to a much higher resolution, taking them from 1k to 4k resolution with a simple 4 node workflow. We do this with both standard upscaling and using upscaling models, which give much better results. We get our upscaling models from: https://openmodeldb.info/ And the specific upscaling model that we use is RealESRGAN_x4Plus by xintau, which you can get here: https://openmodeldb.info/models/4x-realesrgan-x4plus We also troubleshoot an issue with mac, where sometimes the upscaling doesn't work, but can be fixed by launching ComfyUI using: python main.py --cpu which flags ComfyUI to run using the CPU, avoiding the metal optimizations that cause the upscaling model to fail.
