The album received mixed reviews and peaked at No. 30 on the UK Albums Chart and No. 36 on the US Billboard 200. The alternative version, Fly From Here – Return Trip, reunites the classic Drama–era lineup, who in 2018 created a new edition featuring all-new vocals from Trevor Horn, new instrumental parts, and a more organic mix. This version highlights Chris Squire’s distinctive voice and bass contributions, along with additional performances from Steve Howe and Geoff Downes. Originally released on 25 March 2018 during the band’s 50th anniversary tour, the album contains the full six-part title track, the complete version of “Hour of Need,” and the outtake “Don’t Take No for an Answer.”
