In this Hero Wars guide, I show the full path I used to build my team, max the right heroes, choose pets, defeat Somna, and complete Chapter 1 successfully. 🔥 WHAT THIS VIDEO IS ABOUT This video is a complete walkthrough of Chapter 1 of the Somna event in Hero Wars. We start from the Development Shop, where Byrna and Somna are given as the foundation of the team. From there, I build around them using Sebastian, Arachne, and Adam while carefully managing Stal Coins, shop refreshes, pinned cards, and hero upgrades. The goal is simple: create a strong enough team to clear every battle efficiently and be fully prepared when we finally reach Somna, the Chapter 1 boss. Throughout the run, you’ll see exactly which hero cards I purchase, which ones I pin for later, and how I gradually max Arachne, Somna, Adam, Byrna, and Sebastian. The early battles may look easy, but every Development Shop decision matters because those choices determine how strong your final team will be when you reach the boss. 💡 KEY TAKEAWAYS One of the most important heroes in this setup is Sebastian. Mara is assigned to Arachne. Axel is used with Byrna. Cain goes with Adam. Albus is placed on Sebastian. Oliver supports Somna. For the team pet, I use Corvus. However, Corvus is not necessarily the perfect answer against Somna. You can experiment with another team pet depending on your available options and how your battle develops. The important part is understanding that the team is built specifically to complete Chapter 1 efficiently. You don’t necessarily need to copy every single purchase exactly, but the overall development strategy can help you avoid wasting resources. ⚔️ THE SOMNA BOSS FIGHT Once the team development is complete, we finally enter the Somna boss battle. This fight is noticeably more difficult than the earlier battles in Chapter 1. Arachne goes down relatively early, followed by Sebastian. However, the remaining heroes manage to keep fighting. In the end, Byrna, Adam, and Somna survive long enough to secure the victory and complete Chapter 1. The reward for finishing the chapter includes 10,000 Vela Coins, one Medallion, and one Soul Stone Chest. That makes completing the chapter efficiently especially important for players trying to maximize their progress during the Somna event.
