One year ago, I shared a very interesting strategy from Hero Wars veteran Dr. Greenthumb, where Seymour was defeated with only two heroes: Heidi and Mushy and Shroom. That was already impressive because Seymour’s fight is full of dangerous mechanics, including orbs, rocks, stuns, heavy physical attacks, and magic pressure. But now, Crazy Jhu Player sent me something even more surprising. A way to defeat Seymour with only Adam. This is one of the most interesting Seymour tests I have seen because Adam is not using the same logic as Heidi and Mushy and Shroom. He is not mainly destroying Seymour through special orb control or mushroom pressure. Adam wins in a different way. He survives long enough, scales his physical attack, and eventually becomes strong enough to overpower Seymour’s mechanics. But there is one very important warning. Solo Adam is not a guaranteed win. The entire fight depends on Reactive Screen activating at the right moment. ⚔️ SOLO ADAM VS SEYMOUR For the solo test, Adam was patronaged with Vex, and Oliver was used as the team pet to heal Adam during the fight. I also tested Cain, and the result was similar. But I prefer Vex in this setup because Vex gives Adam more useful stats for this battle, including physical attack and armor penetration. That matters because Adam’s damage keeps growing as the fight continues. The longer Adam survives, the more important those offensive stats become. And this is where the fight becomes very interesting. At the beginning, Adam is just trying to survive. But near the end of the battle, his Adaptive Caliber scaling becomes very visible. Adam reaches a point where he can destroy the rocks in front of him with just one bullet. That is the power of scaling when the fight lasts long enough. 🛡️ WHY REACTIVE SCREEN IS THE KEY The most important skill in this battle is Adam’s third skill, Reactive Screen. Reactive Screen activates when Adam takes damage. When it activates, Adam deploys a smoke screen beneath himself for 5 seconds. While Adam is inside that smoke screen, he gains additional dodge and can evade all damage types except pure damage. This is what decides the fight. If Reactive Screen activates at the right moment, Adam survives long enough to scale. If it does not activate on time, Adam may die before his damage reaches the point where Seymour cannot handle him anymore. So this strategy is not stable every time. It is possible. It is impressive. But it is timing-based. That is why I do not want players to think Solo Adam is a guaranteed Seymour clear. It can happen, but Reactive Screen timing matters a lot. 💡 MORE CONSISTENT ADAM SETUPS If you want a more reliable way to defeat Seymour with Adam, adding one more hero makes the setup much stronger. I tested Adam with Nebula, and the result was much more consistent. Nebula gives Adam extra stability and helps the setup survive the early pressure. This gives Adam more time to reach his scaling stage and gives Reactive Screen more chances to activate. I also tested Adam with Dorian, and this version also worked well. Dorian gives Adam vampirism, allowing Adam to heal from his own damage. Since Adam’s damage keeps increasing during the fight, his healing from vampirism also becomes stronger as the battle continues. So there are two strong support directions. Nebula helps Adam survive long enough to scale. Dorian helps Adam heal through his own growing damage. Both versions are more consistent than relying on pure solo Adam. 🧠 KEY TAKEAWAYS Adam can defeat Seymour solo. This is one of the most impressive Seymour tests in Hero Wars.
