“Mama Said” is a Warhammer 40K inspired Ogryn work song built around the feel of an old chain gang chant: heavy labor, simple call-and-response rhythm, iron chains, mud, artillery, and the brutal everyday work of the Astra Militarum. This track follows Ogryns pulling guns, hauling shells, digging trenches, and obeying the “little men” who give orders. It starts as a grim but almost humorous labor chant, then turns sad when the Ogryns are forced to deal with the death of a Commissar they trusted. Big hands, simple rules, and grief they do not fully understand.
