UWWOOOOOOOHHHHHH! SNK's Savage Reign is a weird experiment of a fighting game, making heavy use of gimmicky systems in the engine like plane switching and ceiling climbing, and weapon combat where you can toss projectiles but have them reflected too. It was not the hit SNK wished it would become, probably because it's just so weird. We ran pretty long on this part because I played the CD version too, which I was originally going to show off briefly for the bizarre loading screens... but then the game kept producing new ones and I felt inclined to play through it again to see as many weird messages as possible.
