And so we come to this, the final game made by the original SNK staff. While it's not as beloved as games like 98, this game is a huge improvement in implementing the Striker system from the previous game, although it does make for some pretty broken gameplay at times (good ol' Clark + Joe). But all the nods to old SNK games in the Striker system really does make it feel like it one final love letter from SNK. (explanation of what happened on Mai vs. Zero - there's supposed to be a bug in the game where if you don't press anything when using Mai against the CPU, the CPU will just freeze entirely. It did not happen in this run which confused the hell out of me. I have since discovered that the reason the CPU fought back was because I turned on a cheat to make Mai's breasts go back to their original bouncy state, since SNK decided they needed permanent censorship on the Euro / US bioses. So the glitch only happens because of this weird censorship that doesn't exist on the Japanese bios. I swear to god I'm not making any of this up.)
