Stuff I forgot to say in this video - I'm very happy that people have mentioned they learned new things about the Neo-Geo in this series. I wanted to set out to show that there was more to the Neo-Geo than just fighting games and Metal Slug, so I'm glad I got to showcase those quirkier games too. I've always had a fascination for the system and always wanted to try out whatever would end up get released on it. The first couple years of the Neo-Geo are an especially interesting era to me, where SNK was throwing everything at the wall and seeing what sticks, when they tried to satisfy both an arcade and console market at the same time. Sure a lot of those games were jank, but would we have ended up with things like The Super Spy otherwise? I think that's why I went into this series super excited for the early games, then started to run out of steam for all the fighting games near the end, although the list getting longer also made the ranking deliberations take longer... glad we got there in the end though. I've said this many times and I will say it again here - because of how messed up this list was and the amount of deliberation it took to find placements for these games, I will not be doing another Rank Masters series. Please don't suggest that I do a Capcom CPS Rank Masters, or a Neo-Geo Pocket Color Rank Masters, or anything else of the sort, because it's not happening. I'm not going to stop you if you want to attempt to do a similar style series yourself, but please don't request that I do another series like this.
