Today I'm taking the Drake Golem to Magda, a resource-rich moon of Hurston, to search for high-quality ores needed for crafting in Star Citizen 4.10.2. The Golem is a small, single-seat mining ship, making it a great way to head out and search for valuable deposits. My goal for this trip is to find high-quality iron and other useful resources that I can put toward future crafting projects. After heading down to the surface of Magda, I begin searching for mineable deposits and working my way through the rocks I find. Along the way, I use a gadget on a rock and also manually swap out the mining laser's modules while out in the field. That module change becomes particularly useful when I find a large rock containing 970 quality iron. This isn't a mining tutorial—just some relaxed Star Citizen mining gameplay as I take the Drake Golem out to Magda, hunt for useful crafting materials, and see what I can bring back.
