I set out to complete what should have been a fairly straightforward ground-based bounty in Star Citizen. I brought my Cutlass Red, loaded up a HoverQuad, landed several kilometers from the target, and headed toward the objective on the hoverbike. Things were going great... Until they weren't. What started as a normal bounty hunt quickly turned into one of the most ridiculous chains of events I've experienced in Star Citizen. A bizarre game bug somehow gave me a homicide Crimestat, and from there the entire operation spiraled out of control. There were explosions. A completely unexpected visit to Pyro. A visit to Grim Hex. An attempt to clear my criminal record at Security Post Kareah near Cellin. Then things got even worse when I was killed by security forces and woke up in Klescher Rehabilitation Facility. With no other option, I had to start mining in prison to earn merits and work my way toward freedom. Needless to say... this bounty hunt did NOT go as planned.
