In this Star Citizen 4.8.1 LIVE salvage operation, I use the Drake Ironclad Assault as a mobile salvage base to recover profitable salvage from a Hammerhead gunship claim, using the RSI Salvation as well. The operation begins by stripping the Hammerhead of its many weapons, loading them directly into the Ironclad's cargo bay. I then deploy the Salvation salvage ship to scrape the hull for Recycled Material Composite (RMC), using the Ironclad as a support vessel and mobile operations center throughout the mission. Once the salvage work is complete, I dismantle the recovered weapons, process the recovered materials, and sell the resulting commodities for a substantial profit. While this isn't necessarily the most profitable activity per hour, it is one of the most immersive industrial gameplay loops currently available for players who enjoy salvage operations and large-scale logistics.
