I was invited by For Science to take part in one of the most intense Star Citizen community events I’ve ever experienced: Survivor Island. Nine players. No gear. A dark, rain-soaked island. Bombers dropping live ordnance overhead. Loot scattered across hostile terrain. Only one survivor walks away. This event brought together multiple Star Citizen content creators and streamers with one goal: raise money for Child’s Play, a charity that helps provide games to children in hospitals. No weapons. No armor. No mercy. What followed was a violent, unpredictable fight for survival as players scrambled for loot, avoided bombing runs, and hunted one another in the dark.
