Star Citizen 4.9 PTU introduces a brand-new boarding mission from the returning mission giver, Recco Battaglia, and in this video we're taking a first look at how it plays. After pirates seize control of a Miners Amalgamated Caterpillar, Recco hires us to board the ship, eliminate the hostile occupants, and reclaim the vessel. While the current 4.9 PTU build is still very rough and the mission doesn't function perfectly yet, it's exciting to see another boarding FPS contract being added to Star Citizen's mission pool. In this gameplay video we: • Accept one of the new Nyx mining-related contracts • Board a hijacked Caterpillar cargo ship • Fight through pirate forces • Explore the interior of the mission • Check out the available loot Even with the bugs that come with an early PTU build, this mission shows some promise as a simple yet enjoyable FPS contracts once polished.
