The Drake Ironclad has finally become available in the Star Citizen PTU, and it has the coolest missile system ever - Vertical Launch Torpedoes! In this video, I finally get to fly the Ironclad and quickly take it out specifically to see the torpedoes. These size 5 Reaper V Ironclad torps launch vertically out of incredible bays on the port and starboard sides. Both the base Ironclad and the Ironclad Assault have this same payload (although the Assault has more guns). I don't know about you, but I think this vertical launch system for these torpedoes is one of the coolest features of this amazing new ship.
