A Word For Wednesday, A Preacher With A Broken Heart I met an older retired Pastor who was weeping over the denomination he had supported all his life. They were in the middle of dividing because of serious compromise on a subject that was non-negotiable for him and thousands of others. He was told by leadership to remain silent because his doctrine and opinions were outdated and out of the mainstream. He was weeping over his church and the people he loved. I have been weeping with him, especially the last few weeks as I have witnessed the church he loves take a leap away from their long held beliefs.
