The snow is lying thick on the ground, the boys have nicked a tree and Kev and Lip have got their hands on a consignment of meat from off the back of a lorry and are supplying the entire estate with its Christmas dinner. Everyone’s happy except, of course, Kash and Yvonne who can’t sell their own meat in the shop as a result of the black market activities. The harmony in Windsor Gardens is disrupted however when Carol and Marty (Marjorie Yates and Jack Deam), Veronica’s mother and brother (from the first series at Kev and Veronica’s pretend wedding) turn up late night as refugees from a house fire. Marty has been released from prison only to find his mother in a compromising sexual act with one of his friends in her bathroom and burnt her house down. They have no choice but to spend Christmas with Kev and Veronica.
