Debbie, however, has other things on her mind and comes rushing home from school with the news that Steve is back in town. But Fiona doesn’t want to know so Debbie, with the aid of Veronica, sets about a plan to get them to meet. Meanwhile, when Frank hears of a neighbours tragic death in a road accident he sees in it an opportunity to obtain a new identity. He pays a visit to the widow, Lillian, and offers to split her late husbands social security benefits with her if she doesn’t register the death. Lillian agrees but only on condition that Frank takes the dead man’s dog off her hands. Frank declares a true love for the animal but once her back is turned sets about trying to destroy the beast. Things are going fine until the police reveal that Lillian’s dead husband was actually the victim of a shooting and there’s a murder hunt underway.
