Things turn from bad to worse when Liam swallows an entire packet of Fiona’s contraceptive pills and Marty “accidentally” slams Joey’s arm in the bedroom door. The entire family are off down to casualty in Joey’s van to get Liam’s stomach pumped and soon find themselves on a health authority alert list. When the district health visitor shows up, it turns out to be Katrina Webb (Tara Moran), aka “The sperm whale”, an old class mate and life long rival of Fiona’s and if that’s not enough to put the family on edge, it quickly transpires that Katrina’s fiancé is none other than Joey Dawson. Katrina is making friendly advances towards Fiona, offering to help her with the health report on Liam, but it’s vital that Fiona keep from Katrina any knowledge of her indiscretion with Joey.
