During cross-examination, Dr. Alia Goodheart, a psychiatrist, admitted to Lindsay Clancy’s lawyer that she has never treated a woman suffering from postpartum psychosis. She cared for Lindsay Clancy in early January 2023 when she checked herself into an inpatient psychiatric unit. Dr. Goodheart stated that she did not recall ever treating a woman with postpartum psychosis before Lindsay came in. Clancy has admitted to killing her three kids, Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, inside the family’s home in January 2023 before attempting to take her own life. Clancy’s defense argues she was suffering from severe postpartum mental illness at the time of the killings.
