Mental health counselor Latiesha Dukes took the stand in Lindsay Clancy’s trial and recalled a December 2022 meeting with Clancy, just weeks before she killed her three young children. Dukes testified that Clancy described postpartum anxiety and depression symptoms and admitted she had thoughts about wanting to die, but said she had no set plan to harm herself. Clancy also told Dukes she had previously called a crisis hotline during one of those moments. According to prosecutors, Clancy killed Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, inside the family’s home before attempting to take her own life in January 2023.
