Sue Clancy, Lindsay Clancy’s mother-in-law, took the stand to discuss their relationship and Lindsay’s state of mind in fall 2022. She stated that Lindsay was feeling unwell, couldn’t sleep or eat, and that she felt anxious and sad. Sue also said that she knew Lindsay was seeing doctors in late 2022 and that she was “begging for help.” Lindsay killed her three young children inside the family's home in January 2023 before attempting to take her own life.
