The first defense witness in Lindsay Clancy’s trial was a former coworker from the labor and delivery unit at Mass General. She testified that Clancy was a caring nurse who often talked about her children while at work. The coworker also recalled a conversation about Andrea Yates, who drowned and killed her five children in 2001.
