These attacks can target servers, firewalls, routers, computers, and other devices connected to the network. There are two main types of network attacks: Passive attacks: In which the attacker spies on the network without altering data, searching for sensitive information, and Active attacks: In which data is modified, encrypted, or deleted to cause damage or disrupt services. RESUMEN Un Ataque de red es un intento de explotar vulnerabilidades en una red informรกtica o sus sistemas para acceder, modificar, destruir o bloquear datos sin autorizaciรณn. Estos ataques pueden dirigirse a servidores, firewalls, routers, computadoras y otros dispositivos conectados a la red. Existen dos tipos principales de ataque de red: Ataques pasivos: En los que el atacante espรญa la red sin alterar datos, buscando informaciรณn sensible. Y Ataques activos: en los que se modifican, cifran o eliminan datos para causar daรฑo o interrumpir servicios.
