Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) is incredibly important in today's digital world. Its purpose is to facilitate the secure electronic transfer of information across networks. PKI is used for, among others, secure communication, identity verification, data integrity, authentication, e-commerce and online transactions, regulatory compliance, email security, document signing, and cloud security. RESUMEN La infraestructura de clave pública (PKI) es un marco muy conocido de políticas, procedimientos y tecnologías (software and hardware) que se utilizan para crear, gestionar, distribuir, usar, almacenar y revocar certificados digitales y administrar el sistema de Cifrado de Clave Pública. La infraestructura de clave pública (PKI) es increíblemente importante en el mundo digital actual. Su propósito es facilitar la transferencia electrónica segura de información entre redes. PKI se utiliza, entre otros, para comunicación segura, verificación de identidad, integridad de datos, autenticación, comercio electrónico y transacciones en línea, cumplimiento normativo, seguridad de correo electrónico, firma de documentos, y seguridad en la nube.
