Here's the Second Chapter of my Elephant Reef story, in which I describe how I excavated this amazingly rich gold-in-quartz reef, processing the ore by spreading it out and detecting it carefully. I did save all the ore from this enrichment, and crushed and sluiced it a few years later (I got a few ounces out of it, the metal detecter had found most of the Au).
