Here is the third instalment of the Honeypot Gold Mine story. In 2005 we found a fabulously rich gold mine in Australia, luckily I had a digital camera (a dinosaur these days!) to record the amazing experience. I hope that you've seen the first two parts of this incredible journey, if not please catch-up by searching through my channel ... You won't be disapointed as you will see some of the best footage of a gold reef ever filmed. In this part of the tale, we had bought a Dolly Mill to crush our stone, and set-up a kid's swimming pool with a basic sluice box to treat our ore. Remember that this is in the middle of the desert! So what we had was OK for the conditions. Also, I've included a map to show you how far BIG gold can travel, we got an 11 ounce specimen, then a 25 ouncer not far away ... About 2 kilometres from the Honeypot Mine! That might have been the most important lesson learned after it's all said and done ... Don't be afraid to detect far away from any source of gold, geo-time is on our side, and can scatter Treasure far and wide. OK! Please "Like", "Subscribe" and "Comment" ...
