2 of the control arms on my 2005 truck have significant rust, so I'm changing all 4 of them. That's 4 arms and 8 bolts...easy job right? Well...no. And the stabilizer links, also called the sway bar links, have significant play in them, so I'm replacing those too. This job is more complicated than you might think if you've never done this before, especially on my truck given how they put it together. I also show why you have to make sure to tighten the control arms and stabilizer links with the vehicle at "ride height," so you don't ruin your new bushings. And finally you have to get an alignment done because replacing these parts throws off the alignment.
