Currently Playing: Building A Hydro Generator Turbine Assembly, Version 2.

Now that the generator is sorted, the next step in the hydro-electric project is a rebuild of the generator turbine assembly. That starts with a cooling system for the generator to make sure it won't overheat. Then a new 'wye' for the turbine axle shaft, which I print on my new Formlabs Form 4L printer which does an amazing job. I move on to discover that the aluminum drive hex has been corroding rapidly, so I need a better solution there. Turns out it's going to have to wait for the next video.
