I thought this would be a simple night in my van… but yeah, it didn’t go exactly as planned. The weather changed, the snow got heavier, and I ended up standing there thinking, “Okay, maybe this was a mistake.” 😂 That’s van life in Japan for you — some nights are cozy, and some nights make you question your decisions. I’m traveling across Japan full-time in my self-built van, slowly moving from homelessness into van life. It’s not always perfect, but that’s what makes this journey fun and real.
