I thought van life would fix everything. I’ve been building my van and trying to move forward, but I realized something a few weeks ago — it’s still not enough. It’s not just editing and filming. Just living in the car uses a massive amount of battery. Charging from the car and solar isn’t fast enough to keep up with how much power I actually use every day. So even with a van, I still have to come back to an internet cafe. Van life looks simple from the outside. But the reality is different.
