On September 1, 2020, 51-year-old John Finney fatally shot his 42-year-old wife, Amy Jo Finney, during a domestic dispute at their home on North Illinois Highway 148, just south of Mount Vernon, Illinois. Finney later told a longtime friend that he had shot Amy in the chest with a 9mm Smith & Wesson. He then went to sleep and, around 4:00 a.m., placed her body in his Ford Escape before spending the day driving around Jefferson County. That evening, he confessed to his friend, who contacted authorities. #realcopreacts, #copreactstobodycam
