On June 1, 2022, in Athens, Georgia, police responded to reports of a woman in a bikini stumbling in and out of traffic while carrying a bottle. Officers encountered a 25-year-old woman who was heavily intoxicated, bleeding from her knees, and repeatedly confused about her location. She insisted she was in South Beach, Florida, and was desperately trying to find her twin sister, despite being unable to provide a reliable address or explain where she was. Officers attempted to get her medical attention, but she repeatedly tried to run away, falling several times and further injuring herself. After multiple attempts to escape, she was arrested for public intoxication and obstruction of law enforcement.
