Bram Cohen suggested to move the exit by one unit. This significantly reduced the number of moves. Zigguflat is a binary puzzle: the number of moves doubles for each puzzle added. Zigguphi is "phinary". Phi is the golden ration, i.e. 1.618033988749... The number of moves increases by a factor phi for each piece added. This puzzle was one of a series of exponential puzzles, where the base is non-integer. The factor phi happened to turn up many times, including this puzzle. Iwahiro and Goetz Schwandtner mathematically confirmed the phinary nature of this puzzle. Copyright (c) 2024, M. Oskar van Deventer.
