Again, people are in prison for it. Pete Walker’s work is anecdotal, not supported by any studies, panders to victimhood, and aligned with many discredited ideas such as the polyvagal theory. Example: emotional flashback which misconstrues both emotions and flashbacks. The fawn response is not currently a formal diagnosis in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) or the ICD-11.
