Dive into my brutal takedown of the 2025 Hulu remake of "The Hand That Rocks the Cradle," directed by Michelle Garza Cervera and starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Maika Monroe. While the original 1992 thriller was a tense, iconic ride about revenge and motherhood, this loose remake feels like a watered-down cash grab—predictable twists, underdeveloped characters, and a failure to modernize the story in any meaningful way. I break down the lazy scripting, lackluster pacing, and why it misses the mark on psychological depth. Spoilers ahead! If you're a fan of the classic or just love hating on bad remakes, this review is for you. What do you think—does it suck as much as I say? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
