Dive into the ultimate collector's release of the 1985 anime classic! In this full review, I unbox and break down The Dagger of Kamui - Premium Treasure Trove Edition from AnimEigo — the definitive HD Blu-ray of director Rintaro’s action-adventure masterpiece. This limited Kickstarter Premium Set includes the restored 1080p Blu-ray in a beautiful custom chipboard case plus a full-color 8.5x11" artbook packed with rare artwork, storyboards, and behind-the-scenes treasures. I cover everything: video and audio quality, the new English and Japanese tracks, director’s commentary, trailers, galleries, and why this “Treasure Trove” edition is the best way to experience the film in 2026.
