It's the first day of HalloWeek so let's kick things off with a review of a new horror movie, albeit one that premiered on Paramount+. Dive into my spoiler-free review of "Vicious" (2025), the gripping supernatural horror film directed by Bryan Bertino and starring Dakota Fanning as Polly, a young woman who unwittingly unleashes terror after receiving a mysterious box with a tempting promise: place three items inside for one wish. Joining her are standout performances from Kathryn Hunter, Mary McCormack, and Rachel Blanchard. I'll break down the atmospheric tension, the film's chilling twists, and whether it lives up to Bertino's previous hits like "The Strangers." Is this a must-watch for horror fans, or does it fall short? Watch to find out my full thoughts and rating! Streaming now on Paramount+.If you enjoyed this review, like, subscribe, and hit the bell for more movie breakdowns. What did you think of "Vicious"? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
