Kaidan and the Dragonborn head back to the Thieves Guild to tell Mercer Frey about what happened in Solitude with Gulum-EI. The Dragonborn tells Mercer that a Dunmer named Karliah was behind the sale of Goldenglow Estate. Mercer recognizes the name as a former guild member with a grudge. She murdered a member of the guild, a man named Gallus. He’s been trying to track her for decades. He tells the Dragonborn to meet him at Snow Veil Sanctum where he suspects Karliah to be waiting. After being betrayed by Brynolf and left for dead inside the sanctum, the Dragonborn finds out the truth from the former Thieves Guild member Karliah. It was Mercer who betrayed the guild and murdered Gallus, not her. She wants our help in translating a journal that Gallus left behind. She suggest an old acquaintance might be able to help. A wizard named Enthir from The College of Winterhold. Kaidan and the Dragonborn head to Winterhold to find out. This is part six of my Thieves Guild quest series with the Kaidan mod.
