After completing the Goldenglow job, Maven asks to meet with the Dragonborn in person. Before leaving to go meet Maven, Lady Nadya stops to speak some more with Brynjolf. Brynjolf asks her why she agreed to help him that day in the market. He tells her a little about his childhood. After Brynjolf walks away, she overhears an argument between Brynjolf and Mercer about her. Brynjolf then insults Kaidan, and they argue. As Kaidan and the Dragonborn try to leave again, this time Mercer has some harsh words for Kaidan. Trying to intimidate Kaidan away from the Dragonborn. They finally meet with Maven Black-Briar to find out that Maven wants the Dragonborn to head to Whiterun and meet with a man named Mallus Maccius. Maccius tells the Dragonborn she is to poison the mead at the Honeybrew Meadery to help eliminate Maven’s competition. After successfully completing their mission, they head back to Riften to tell Maven the work has been done and that the promissory note she needed has a strange mark on it that she’s seen before. Maven tells her to bring this information to the guild immediately. This is part four of my Thieves Guild quest series with the Kaidan mod.
