Part 6 of the Glitched Worlds journey takes us deeper into the corrupted memory of Super Mario Bros, exploring Worlds 59 through 68. At this stage, the game no longer feels like it’s simply remixing familiar levels. Worlds begin looping endlessly, submerging entire stages underwater, or loading incomplete fragments where Mario can’t even move. In this episode, I document: ~Underground tunnels that never progress ~Castles where Bowser no longer guards the maze ~Worlds that never fully load ~Entire stages reduced to darkness ~Coin-filled heavens with no escape ~Multiple classic levels merged into a single drowned cycle ~And underwater skies where Bowser’s fire replaces Bullet Bills TIME STAMPS: 0:00 Introduction 0:35 World 59- The Endless Tunnel 1:05 World 60- The Castle Without Consequence 1:26 World 61- The World That Never Starts 1:56 World 62- The Underwater Fortress 2:29 World 63- The Empty World 2:43 World 64- The Corrupted Castle 3:14 World 65- The Looping Plains 3:39 World 66- Coin Heaven 4:01 World 67- The Drowned Kingdom 4:48 World 68- The Flooded Sky 5:15 Outro These aren’t ROM hacks or mods, they’re the unintended results of memory corruption inside the original NES version of Super Mario Bros.
