It seems like everything in Koh Tao revolves around scuba diving. We had originally planned to just do a few fun dives during our week in Koh Tao. However, we were quickly talked in to getting our Advanced Open Water certification! Koh Tao is one of the cheapest places in the world to get diving certifications! Our advanced diving certification cost approximately $250 USD. We had an amazing experience diving in Koh Tao and we would highly recommend to anyone! The only draw back to the diving was that the visibility was pretty poor. We had heard great things about the visibility around Koh Tao, but we went during low season so the water around the island wasn't as clear.
